On final Tuesday, June thirtieth, I completed my June climbing problem with a complete of seven,652 meters. The best mountain on this planet is Chomolungma (Mt Everest) at 8,848 meters. Trying on the tallest peaks of every continent, South America is available in 2nd with Aconcagua at 6,962 meters. Exceeding 8848 meters is a problem referred to as “Everesting”. I didn’t fairly make that. However I did do a bit greater than “Aconcagua-ing”, which feels fairly good.
Having a problem makes coaching enjoyable, so shifting on to July I’ve signed up for the 800 km distance problem. I’m truly taking pictures for 1000 miles which is somewhat over 1600 km. This requires a bit over 2 hours of driving on common at 15 mph (24 kph) or extra, which appears doable. Within the first 4 days I’m forward of schedule with simply over 111 miles to date. I’m having fun with this yet one more than the climbing one as a result of pace on the flats is my recumbent’s forte much more than climbing.
Final Sunday I did an extended cruise via the mountain roads northwest of Morgan Hill.
